Biography
Lisa Hough works at the intersection of U.S. energy infrastructure, Bitcoin, and AI/HPC data center deployment — at a moment when those three things have become inseparable.
Her foundation is institutional energy markets — Enron Capital & Trade, Phibro Energy, PG&E, National Energy Group — and deep experience in digital assets at Unchained and Custodia Bank, advising institutions on Bitcoin custody and regulatory strategy as the space was still taking shape. More recently she was engaged by Fulgur Ventures to advise BSTR, Adam Back's Bitcoin Standard Treasury Company, on its deSPAC process, including capital markets
strategy and the structuring of its IR and PR teams.
She believes the buildout of American energy and compute infrastructure is one of the defining national security challenges of this decade — and that the window to get it right is narrow. That conviction drives her current work: structuring large-scale AI infrastructure initiatives, including a ~2 GW campus development in West Texas, with several comparable projects underway across the region.
She sits on the Supervisory Board of Paris-based Melanion Digital, affiliated with a Bitcoin-equity ETF, and advises Trammell Venture Partners.
